Reginald Marsh’s portrait of Raymond
Haupert, left, president of the College (1944-69) and namesake
of the HUB,
was the subject of a feature by Geoff Gehman in the September
4 Morning Call. It’s on display in Payne Gallery until
Sunday.
The beautiful new diversity murals in the
HUB were featured in a stand-alone photo in the local section
of the
August
28 Morning Call. It included Nancy Brennan ’04, Howell,
N.J.; Peter Verile ’06, Phillipsburg, N.J.; and Debra
Leibensperger ’04, Hamburg.
Mary Kate Cordisco ’04,
Bethlehem, is one of six athletes featured in “Faces
in the Crowd” in the September
22 issue of Sports Illustrated.
A right-side hitter for
the women’s volleyball team,
Cordisco set an All-Division NCAA record on August 29,
recording 25 consecutive service points in Moravian’s
30-2 first game victory in a three-game sweep of Washington
College
on opening day of the season. She then took over the
serve in the match with the score tied 1-1 and served
the next
25 points, including 15 service aces. She finished the
contest with a Moravian College record of 18 service
aces. |
