Cancellation: The Health Sciences Symposium scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled, but Margaret McClure ’61, president-elect of the American Academy of Nursing, will deliver her keynote address as a freestanding lecture November 9. See “Lecture Circuit.” Ext. 1366.

Honor role: Nominations for the Alumni Association’s Medallion of Merit are due November 12 in the Alumni Office. For criteria, nomination form and a list of past recipients: Pat Hanna, Ext. 7874.

House of usher: Volunteers are needed to usher for the Christmas Vespers, all or any of the six of them, November 30-December 2 and December 7-9. Katie Copf, Ext. 6045, or the chaplain’s office, Ext. 1583.

Movable medicine: The St. Luke’s Health Star Van will be on campus 1:30-4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, at the Locust Street entrance to the HUB. It will offer blood pressure and cholesterol screenings.

Sunset years: If you need assistance with retirement planning and can’t make one of the on-campus sessions, there are opportunities for one-on-one counseling at the Philadelphia Regional Office of TIAA/CREF, 1835 Market St., Suite 1600.
