Two esteemed scholars will discuss “Reparations for African-Americans”: Howard McGary, Rutgers University, 4:00 p.m., and Conrad Worrill, Northeastern Illinois University, 8:00 p.m. McGary is the author of Race and Social Justice, a chapter of which is on reserve in Reeves Library under Philosophy 290, a course on the reparations question taught by Koffi Maglo, visiting assistant professor of philosophy. Worrill was an organizer of the 1995 Million Man March. The event is sponsored by LVAIC’s Africana Studies Consortium. Prosser Auditorium, HUB. Ext. 7881.
