Blackout: There will be a full electrical shutdown from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, to allow for the triennial cleaning of the electrical switching gear and to pull electrical feeds for the new academic building.

The power supply to the HUB also will be replaced.

All buildings on North Campus will be affected except the houses on Main, Frankford, West Greenwich, and Cortland streets, Alumni House, and Lenox House.

On South Campus, there will be no power to Main Hall, Brethren’s House, South Hall, West Hall, Foy Hall, and the Hurd complex.

In addition, there will be no heat in any of the Student Services buildings.

Special arrangements are being made for the campus computer system, deep freezers in the Hall of Science, the telephone system and a few other situations with special needs. For other concerns (as, for example, office aquariums): Neil Reenock, Ext. 7980.
