RECAP: A look back at some on-campus events since our last issue.

BRAIN GAMES (March 13):

Brain Awareness Week offered Moravians a chance to fire up their neurons with brain-busting puzzles and games. Prizes included edible gummy brains. Mmmmmm...brains.

CELEBRATING MORAVIAN WOMEN EXHIBITION (opening, March 19):

Judging was by last year's Best of Show winner, Quynh Vo 08.

Jan Ciganick organized the event.

The annual show, which features artwork by women of the Moravian College community, will be on display in the HUB through March 29. This year's best of show award was given to Liz Fowler Wochko 83 for her colored pencil drawing "Flow."

Moravian's participation in this annual effort to raise awareness about violence in the community began with a March from south campus to the Main street campus peace pole. Participants and attendees listened to moving and heartfelt remarks by faculty, students and guest speaker Heidi Markow, founder of the Beginning Over foundation. A performance by Footlights, Moravian College's musical theatre company, closed the event.
