TRAVEL ABROAD WITH MORAVIAN BLOGGERS

Professor Wetzel, right, at last year's Frydlant workshop.

This week, Moravian assistant professor of music Neil Wetzel and jazz faculty colleagues Gary Rissmiller and Skip Wilkins are visiting the homeland of the original Moravians. They're spending ten days in the Moravia area of the Czech Republic to teach and perform at the Karel Velebny Jazz Workshop in Frydlant, a town northeast of Prague. Read about their overseas gig, see pictures, and ask questions at moravianczech.blogspot.com.

And don't forget to take a look at the astonishing sojourn of assistant professor of music Hilde Binford, who spent this summer where it's winter, in Patagonia. You'll see wonderful photos of Chilean wildlife and landscapes, and read some interesting stories about local towns and customs..
