Gloria Guth Receives President's Impact Award
Gloria Guth, secretary for multicultural affairs/international study, received a Presient's Recognition Impact Award from President Thomforde yesterday, September 16, 2008.
"Gloria went above and beyond in her capacity as half-time secretary for International Studies to ensure a smooth transition between directors," said President Thomforde at the Award presentation in Monacacy Hall. Because of her efforts, "the International Studies office functioned smoothly for the 21 weeks it was without a director, enabling us to continue to serve students."
Impact Awards are given to recognize excellence and meritorious personal performance or achievement, either within or outside assigned job duties, resulting in significant benefit to Moravian College and/or Moravian Theological Seminary. Awards are presented from three leadership levels: the Board Chair, the President, and the seven Vice Presidents. Awards range from $500-1,000 and include a certificate and pin.
