With
this issue, Judith Green, who joined Moravian College as assistant
director of publications on October 1, becomes assistant editor
of the Moravian College Magazine. She is a journalist with
22 years of experience at newspapers such as the San Jose Mercury
News, Baltimore Sun, and Atlanta Journal-Constitution,
specializing in arts reportage and criticism. She also has written
for magazines such as San Francisco Focus, American Music
Teacher, American Theater, and Art News. She holds
a B.A. in music from Ohio State University, an M.A. in music from
Western Illinois University and an M.S. in journalism from Columbia
University. She served on two Pulitzer Prize drama juries and was
on the Mercury News team that won the 1989 Pulitzer Prize
for overall news coverage of the Loma Prieta earthquake. An accomplished
pianist and choral singer, Judith is working on a biography of René
Blum, founder of the Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo.
