Robert Wilson- Black has been named vice president for institutional advancement, succeeding
Robert Schoenen.
The new vice president comes to Moravian from the University of St. Francis
in Joliet, Illinois, where he had been vice president for development since 2002. While
he was there, the endowment doubled (from $8 million to $16 million) and annual giving
increased dramatically.
He holds a B.A. and an M.H. (Master of Humanities) from the University
of Richmond and an A.M. and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
His previous experience
has been at the University of Chicago (director of College and Graduate Funds), the University
of Chicago’s Divinity School, and Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago (as vice
president). |
