NEWS OF 2001
From the Alumni House:
Leah Williams is
now taking classes at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in neuropharmacology
and cancer pharmacology. She often talks to Heather Deeble, who is in
optometry school at Penn.
Gerald Vinci has
been hired as a graphic designer for SpeakEasy Communications, Whitehall. He will oversee
its printing and photography divisions.
NEWS OF 2000
From Faithann Cheslock:
It's hard to believe two years
have passed since graduation. I hope everyone is doing well. I live in Allentown and
work at the Northeast Pennsylvania Lions Eye Bank, where Mark E. Weaver '93
is director.
Here are some updates on our
classmates:
Becky Stroup spent
this last school year teaching biology to sophomores at Northampton High School. She
also was an assistant coach of the Moravian softball team.
Clay Wagner is
an agent for Coldwell Banker/Arthur G. Wagner Realty in Havertown. Congratulations to
Clay, who just bought a new home himself!
Mike Keysock is
working for Merck Pharmaceuticals as a staff biologist. Congratulations to Mike, who
also bought a new home in Lansdale.
Marcia Zangrilli is
expecting to earn her master's degree this semester from the College of William and Mary
in Virginia.
Becky Jackson spent
her year teaching second graders at Lower Township School in Cape May, N.J.
Jenn Horton is working as a public relations representative for Lincoln Educational Services.
She plans to begin graduate studies this fall in student affairs and higher education.
Becky Dapkiewicz will
marry her college sweetheart on Labor Day weekend.
Desiree Frantz is
working in Delaware for MBNA as an account manager.

Dimitra Petropoulos graduated
with honors from Kutztown University in December 2001 with a Master of Education in curriculum
and instruction. She has joined the faculty of Lehigh Carbon Community College.
Amie Carrier was
accepted at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
NEWS OF 1999
From the Alumni House:
Leahn Agnew is
living in Lititz. She loves her job as a ninth- and 10th-grade English teacher at Lebanon
High School. She says she constantly changes the way she teaches so she can make the
curriculum practical and interesting. She also coaches middle school basketball and track
and helps advise the school newspaper. In her spare time, she is a representative for
the union and the crisis team.
Steph Richardson lives
in Bethlehem and teaches at Liberty High School, where she also is head volleyball coach.
Lynne Grzywacz was
married in June 2001 to Greg Webb '97. She is a graduate student at Temple University.
Jennifer Page just
bought her first home in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

I'm looking forward to serving
you as class correspondent. Since graduating and moving to North Carolina in 1999, I've
not had the opportunity to see many of you, so this is a great opportunity to get back
in touch with everyone.
I am living in Greenville,
N.C., with my husband, Mike, and our boxer puppy, Daisy. I work for Aventis Pharmaceuticals
as a sales representative. Please feel free to write or e-mail me to share any news that
you may have, and I will make sure that it is shared with the rest of the Moravian College
community.

In January, Jessica
Blasko moved to Boston for a position as a research genetic counselor at Children's
Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School.
Elisabeth Hedden married
Jeff Watson on June 30, 2001. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Underhill, Kathleen
Jackson Schunk, Bridget Cain Mayberry, and Lisa Frey
Hawking. Matthew Linquist was a groomsman. Melissa
Stengel Andresko also was present. Jen Underhill and Matt Linquist are engaged
and plan an October 26 wedding.
Jena Woods Pado has
moved to California. Her husband, Joe, is in the U.S. Air Force and was transferred to
Travis Air Force Base outside Sacramento. Jena has accepted a job as alumni association
membership manager at the University of California at Davis.
Tara Wartman is
pursuing a B.A. in accounting at Marycrest International University, Davenport, Iowa,
where she relocated two years ago. She plans to graduate in December. In the meantime,
she continues her work at John Deere. Her fiancé, Tyler McClimon '99,
has another year to go at Palmer College of Chiropractic. In June they will be married
at the Moravian Chapel in downtown Bethlehem. They plan to move back to Pennsylvania
after they've both graduated.
Rebecca Page married James
Hillary '99 in June 2001. Bridesmaids included Tara Wartman, Angela
Stetler, Kasie Hornberger, and Jen Samson '00.
One of the groomsmen was Rob Gingrich '99. Other Moravian grads in
attendance were Tina Weikart Mabey, Jocelyn Bellew '99, Jarred
Weaver, Robert Thear, Jason Tosto, and Brian
Diaz '99.
Angela Stetler is
still at Nova Southeastern University's law school, Shepard Broad Law Center, in Fort
Lauderdale, Fla.
Kasie Hornberger works
at B. Braun in Bethlehem.
Aymee DiDomenico is
now living in Virginia Beach, Va., about six miles from the shore. She teaches first
grade in the Suffolk, Va., public schools.
Daniela Grillo married
Enzo Egidi in St. Louis, Mo., in July 2001. Jessica Blasko was in the
bridal party, and Scott Goehringer '99 was a wedding guest.
Toni Ann Rhinehart
Smith and her husband, Jeremy, had their first child, Jacob Ryan, on August
26, 2001. Toni loves being a stay-at-home mother.
Lauren Dreyer is
getting married July 6 to her longtime boyfriend, Jason Franklin.
Laura Haines and
Jim Coupe will tie the knot June 8.
Amy Learn is
a third-year veterinary student at the University of Pennsylvania and is looking forward
to her last year of school.
Casey Llewellyn became
engaged to Brian Moyer in December 2001. They are planning their wedding for the fall
of 2003. Casey is working as a sales consultant.

Reunion Homecoming 2002
From the Alumni House:
Caron Dessoye became
engaged to her childhood friend, Eric Loyack, February 11. She plans to move back to
the Philadelphia area in July.
Kelly Davis was
engaged to be married this April.
Brian Hunsicker has
moved to Woodbridge to be closer to his job. He lives with two other sportswriters.
Bob Schneider is
engaged to Gretchen Brewer.
Teri Davenport graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania in May with a degree in veterinary medicine.
Annette Varcoe received
a Fulbright fellowship to study in New Zealand this summer. She will be focusing on New
Zealand culture and geography to create a course for her ninth-grade global history and
geography students at Union-Endicott High School in Brackney. For her 11th-grade students,
she'll work on a plan to compare our Constitution with New Zealand's. She will also look
at how New Zealand has dealt with being a bicultural society and compare its history
with the Civil Rights movement in American history.
Emily Evans married
John North in August 2001.
NEWS OF 1996

Hi, everyone! First I would
like to announce my newest addition: Jacob Daniel, born June 2, 2001. I can't believe
he's almost a year old!
Michelle Mistysyn
Ulsh is expecting her third child in early June.
Tammy Tracy and Michael
Peek were married July 14, 2001. Carissa Barillari and Allison
Young were in the wedding party. Others attending were Michelle Mistysyn
Ulsh, Tara Pierson White, Nicole DiFluri Clark, Chris
Clark '97, Derek Wright, Tony Yambor, Kyle
Warmkessel '97, Rob '93 and Dana Perio Potts '94, Michelle
Fox '97, Adam Marchesano '97, and Erin Jones '95.
Tammy and Michael are living in Logan, Utah, where Tammy is a teacher and Michael has
a post-doctoral fellowship in the Ecology Center at Utah State University.
Melissa Manco has
moved to Wayne, N.J., and works for TUV-Essen as project manager/certifications.
Shea Foster and
her husband, L. J. Bennett, just bought a home in Forks Township. Shea is an art teacher
at North Warren High School.
Tara Jardine is
a fashion buyer for the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
Caress Bacillary is
studying for her master's degree in counseling at Rider University and is engaged to Derek
Wright, head basketball coach at Central Bucks High School.
In December 2001, Mark
Price became engaged to Jennifer Adams, an elementary school teacher at Oley
Valley Elementary School in Oley, Pa. They're getting married in July 2003. Mark says
he is living with a friend in Oaks and working at Innovative Print and Media Group
in Collegeville.

Blaine Bergenstock graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania in May with a degree in veterinary medicine.

Karen Mattes and Kevin
Anderko are married and have a new house in the country in Danielsville. She
is teaching at Liberty High School in Bethlehem and has just finished her master's
degree in biology. Karen also played basketball in a league last summer.
NEWS OF 1994
From Ann Schlottman:
I received e-mail recently
from several classmates. Michele Fritz works for Lehigh County Children
and Youth Services as a caseworker and is looking into a master's degree. In February,
she gave a presentation on working for the county to the field placement seminar of Lucy
McCammon, co-chair of the sociology department. Michele keeps in touch with Janet
Worsley Norwood and her husband, Sam '95, as well as Nina
Lowe '95 and Eileen Rizzo '95.
Marianne Anestad lives
in Wayne with her husband, Doug. They have a 2-year-old son, Marcus, and a baby, Rebecca,
who was born in February. Marianne works one day a week as a teacher at Gymboree Play & Music
and goes to school part-time at West Chester University, where she is studying for her
elementary education teaching credential.
Drew Menten traditionally
goes to the first round of the NCAA Division I basketball tournament with Tom
Harper '93. This year was no exception: They got caught up in "March Madness" in
Washington, D.C.
It was nice to receive e-mail
from Michele and Marianne, sisters of mine from the former Sigma Tau Sigma sorority.
I hope to hear from more members of the Class of 1994 soon. E-mail is the best method.

Joe Michalczyk was
inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Bishop O'Hara High School in Dunmore. His roommate, Tony
Battaglia, was inducted last year. Both, with Joe's brother, Mark '99,
traveled to Italy last summer.
Pamela Porter married Gordon
Grauer '96 in June 2001. They bought a house in the country in October. She
is an independent regional monitor for pharmaceutical companies. |
