NEWS OF 2004
From the Alumni House:
Lauren Castellano Compitello and her husband, Joe, have a daughter, Alyssa
Elizabeth, born July 7, 2004. They reside in Newtown, and Lauren teaches at Richboro Elementary
in the Council Rock School District.
Carrie Cooper moved to a house in Conshohocken with Melissa Keysock '02
and Erin Mensel.
Kristin Kuchera teaches fourth grade and loves it. Erin Lund married
Chris Howard on October 9 in Harrisburg. Her wedding party included Paula Saslafsky, Timothy
Schaeffer, and Stephanie Hachey '05. Observers included Jillian
Kalweit, Alicia Fowler, Joseph Dougherty, and Jennifer
Nelson, as well as Sarah Wagenseller, Kristin Franks, Kyle
Slemmer, and Evan Donovan, all from the Class of '05. Erin and
Chris reside in Whitehall.
Kelly Vansickle recently moved from Paducah, Kentucky, to Harrisburg
and rents an apartment in the same complex as Drew Horton '03. Kelly works
at a Radisson Hotel.

From the Alumni House:
Scott Zientek has moved to Fairfax, Virginia, and works as a sales representative
for Ortho McNeil Neurologics.
Joshua Weaknecht and Carrie- Ann Katana are engaged and plan their wedding
for July 23.
NEWS OF 2002
From the Alumni House:
Nikola Krpan has received a fellowship from the German Academic Exchange
Service (DAAD) that covers all living, travel, tuition, and language study expenses for
his graduate career at a German university of his choice.
NEWS OF 2001
From the Alumni House:
Chrissy Koonce married Donovan Schaffer on January 15. In attendance
were her multiple housemates from Moravian: Heather Deeble, Brooke
Dancho, Jess Marchand, Leah Williams, and Jaya
Valliyil.
After graduating with her master's degree in pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania,
Leah Williams became a project manager for a clinical trials management company. She is
now a medical editor at Phillips Oncology Communications Company, based in Philadelphia
and Atlanta. She spends part of her time in each city.
Jessica Kistler is in the Hershey Symphony and is a junior choir director
at Lititz Moravian Church in Lititz. She has also taught at Lebanon Valley College.
Maggie Awad married Kenneth Abboud on June 21, 2003. Sarah Parker was
one of 10 bridesmaids. Among the 400 family and friends that attended were classmates Clara
Thorne and Chris Gilbert. In 2001, Maggie and Ken started their
own computer network company, ACI, based in Bethlehem with a remote office in West Chester.
They live in Bethlehem and expect their first child in September.

Reunion Homecoming 2005
From the Alumni House:
Rachel O'Donnel has received a graduate assistantship in the Center for
Research on Latin America within the political science department of York University, Toronto,
Canada. An honors graduate in political science, Rachel received the Albert Ferkel Jr.
Award and the Alumni Prize for Outstanding Achievement in the Social Sciences at her commencement.
Rachel has been a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala for the last three years. |
