Rookie of the Year Freshman Ozzie Brown was named Middle Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year at the 2005 MAC Championships, after winning the 110-meter high hurdles and the long jump on the third and final day of competition. Brown ran an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 14.87 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles and the long jump with a leap of 6.90 meters (22 feet, 7¾ inches). Brown also was fifth in the 100- meter dash in 11.28 seconds and third in the 200-meter dash in 21.90 seconds. He helped the Greyhounds to a fourth-place team finish. |
