Nominations
for Alumni Board 2003-2006
The Alumni
Association Board of Directors will present a slate of four candidates
for the 2003-2006 term at the Association’s
annual meeting on May 31, 2003.
Nominated for their first term on the Alumni Board are Kelly Krieble ’86,
Audrey Weaver ’98 and Richard Subber ’69.
After
teaching at the Arkansas School for Math and Sciences, Kelly
is now an assistant
professor of physics at Moravian College. He
has published numerous articles on topics ranging from medical
physics to the effects of cigarette smoking and dementia on electroencephalographic
nonlinearity. Kelly also volunteers as a judge for the Lehigh
Valley Science Fair. He has served on the Class of ’86
reunion committee and has attended numerous alumni programs.
Audrey
is a senior technical writer for Agilisys, Inc. She was a founding
member of the Young Alumni Board and is finishing
her second term on that board, during which she served as the
Student
Relations Committee Chair. Audrey is also an Executive Committee
member of the Blue and Grey Club and received the Alumni Association
Emerging Leader Award in 2001.
Richard
works as a strategic planning manager for the Morning Call, and
serves as an adjunct
professor at Alvernia College.
He is a
charter member and chair of the MBA Advisory Board, serving
as a representative to the business partners group and on
the selection
committee for MBA recruitment consultant. Richard also volunteers
as a member of the advisory board for the Adult Literacy
Center of the Lehigh Valley.
Robert
Houser ’65 has been
nominated for his second term, having served on the board since
2000. He has been a member of
the Career Development Committee, is chair of the Communications
Committee, and writes alumni profiles for the Moravian College
Magazine. He also chaired the Class of ’65 35th reunion.
Bob is currently working as a manger of business development
for the Boeing Company in Washington, D.C., after flying jet
aircraft for the navy for 30 years.
The
Alumni Association Board of Directors will present a revision
of the Alumni Association bylaws for ratification at the annual
meeting on May 31. To familiarize yourself with the bylaws before
