The Payne Gallery is pleased to host its Eleventh Biennial
Print Show, a show of original prints created within the last three
years by printmakers from thoughout the United States. The works submitted
range from those created in traditional, centuries-old techniques such
as the woodcut, popularized in the late 1400s by Albrecht Durer, to
those created with cutting-edge computer technology. Printmaking techniques
such as linocut, lithograph, serigraph, etching, intaglio, and monoprint
are also represented. Three Purchase Awards of $500 each were chosen.
These works will be added to the Moravian College Permanent Art Collection.
