Dr. G. Clarke Chapman, Professor of Religion, will represent
Moravian College on a ship-based tour of distinguished scholars to the
Crossroads of Early Christianity this June 12-26. Moravian College is
pleased to welcome students and non-students who wish to participate.
The cruise tour will visit Crete, Israel, Cyprus, Rhodes,
Patmos, Philippi, Istanbul, and a number of places in Turkey where St.
Paul lived and worked. Biblical scholars, historians, and archaeologists
from seven nations will supply valuable insights into the crossroads
of Early Christianity. Rooms and meals are aboard ship, and there are
optional land tours to such places as Troy, Troas, Assos, and current
archaeological sites. Participating students are required to keep a
journal. For more information, contact Dr. Chapman at 610-861-1410.
