Moravian College will host an open house for accepted
students and their parents on Saturday, April 10th, beginning at 9 a.m.
with registration in Johnston Hall on the Main Street Campus. Approximately
500 people are expected to attend the event.
The open house will include academic information sessions
on various majors and study areas, a panel discussion hosted by parents
whose children attend Moravian, a student life seminar hosted by the
Moravian students, an "organization fair" staffed by representatives
of campus groups, residence hall information sessions, and a reception
and luncheon. The afternoon portion of the program will feature several
options, including campus tours and open houses at Reeves Library and
the admissions office. Visitors will be welcomed by Moravian College
president Dr. Ervin Rokke and the entire Moravian College community
at 9:30 a.m. in Johnston Hall.
Many members of the Moravian College community will participate
in the open house. Representatives of the 26 Points student ambassador
organization will lead visitors on campus tours, while residence hall
staff members will speak on dormitory life. Also, commuter students
will discuss how to be involved on campus as a commuter. The event is
open to students who have been accepted for admission to Moravian College.
