Moravian College, well known for its art programs, has
announced the Art Department's summer schedule. The summer calendar
is comprised of two six-week accelerated sessions. Moravian offers tracks
in studio art, art history and criticism, graphic design, and art education.
Summer I is scheduled June 1-July 9. Art courses offered
include Art History since the Renaissance, Ceramics I-III, Photography
I, Painting I-II, and Narrative Painting and Drawing.
Summer II is scheduled July 12-August 20. Art courses
include Introduction to Graphic Design, Fundamentals of Drawing and
Painting, Design: Two-Dimensional, and Art in the Elementary School.
Classes are open to all age groups, from traditional college
age students to senior citizens (who receive a 50% discount on tuition).
Visiting students should obtain appropriate authorization (for specifics
on transferring credits) from their home school Advisor, Dean, or Registrar.
