Moravian College to help feed Bethlehem's hungry at holiday lunch

Moravian College has partnered with Cathedral Church of the Nativity to hold a holiday lunch for Bethlehem's less fortunate on Saturday, December 18. Approximately fifty volunteers are helping to serve a traditional holiday dinner of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, cake, and pie. The holiday lunch will be attended by more than 150 people from a variety of Bethlehem social service agencies including New Bethany Ministries, South Bethlehem Neighborhood Center, Victory House, Trinity Episcopal, St. Luke's Outpatient Clinic, and New Directions.

Moravian College and The Cathedral Church of the Nativity have joined together to outreach to residents of Bethlehem that would benefit from some holiday spirit and a nutritious hot meal. Cathedral Church is providing the site and the staff to outreach to social service agencies and Moravian College is providing the food and volunteers for the lunch. Volunteers will be setting up, serving food, greeting, interacting with guests and their children
