Moravian College is offering two courses especially for
production and inventory control personnel beginning April 11 and April
13.
Just-in-Time, a two-credit course, will begin April 11
at 6:30 p.m. on the Moravian campus. It focuses on production-to-customer
demand, zero inventories and zero defects, and the elimination of unnecessary
lead time and wasted labor and material. The aim is to maximize employees’
productive potential and flexibility.
Systems and Technology, also a two-credit course, examines
the strategic environment for manufacturing, the integration of existing
and emerging systems and technologies, and the synergy necessary to
provide positive results. It begins April 13 at 6:30 p.m..
Both courses are part of the Production and Inventory
Management Certificate Program in the Division of Continuing and Graduate
