Sixty-nine adult students will be honored at a special
reception at Moravian College on Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m. Students
in the Division of Continuing and Graduate Studies who have completed
elementary or secondary teacher certification, one of the professional
studies certificates (Human Resources Administration, Production and
Inventory Management, Business Communication, or Not-for-Profit Management),
or academic certificates (Art, Economics, and Accounting) will be recognized
for their achievement of these special credentials. Hosted by the Moravian
College Alumni Association, the reception for honorees and their families
will be held in Moravian’s Bahnson Center, 40 Locust Street, Bethlehem.
Piano music will be provided by Moravian music major Gary
Stokes of Allentown. Dr. Linda Heindel, Dean of Continuing and Graduate
Students, will welcome the group. Dr. William Deeds, Dean for Academic
Affairs, will give a talk in honor of the occasion. Kathleen Doyle Dowd,
representative from the Alumni Association, will congratulate the students
on behalf of the College. Students will be individually acknowledged
for their achievements.
