Scores of paintings, drawings and other art works valued
from less than $100 to more than $4,000 will be auctioned off at the
fourth Annual Moravian College Art Auction on the evening of Saturday,
June 3 for the benefit of the college library.
A preview of the artwork begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Haupert
Union Building at which wine, non-alcoholic beverages and hors d’oeuvers
will be served. The many fine pieces of art will be auctioned starting
promptly at 7:30 p.m. All of the artwork is beautifully framed and reasonably
priced. Auction bids start as low as $35, and payment may be made using
credit cards.
Among the striking array of artistic offerings are hand
signed, limited-edition lithographs by a variety of outstanding.
This is the fourth year of the art auction to benefit
the Reeves Library, which serves the Moravian campus and surrounding
community. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 a couple and can be purchased
at Reeves Library or at the door. The Haupert Union Building is located
on Moravian’s Main Street Campus at the corner of Locust and Monocacy
streets in Bethlehem.
