Jon Conrad named director of human resources at Moravian College

(Bethlehem, PA) -- Moravian College recently named Jon Conrad as director of human resources for both the College and the Theological Seminary. Conrad is a 1982 graduate of Moravian College with a B.A. in psychology and minor in sociology.

Conrad has 15 years experience in human resources management. For the past seven years, he was the director of human resources for the Visiting Nurses Association of Eastern Pennsylvania. Jon managed all day-to-day activities related to compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations and training.

"John brings skills and experience to Moravian, which is needed to build on the functions established by outgoing director Deb Smull, and to provide the leadership needed to meet the near and long term goals of the College and Seminary," said Dennis Domchek, vice president for administration.

Conrad is active in the community; he is the Personnel Committee chair of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, serves on the Personnel Committee of the Alcohol Council of the Lehigh Valley, and is a member of the Men of Muhlenberg Hospital Center.

Moravian College is a private, coeducational, selective liberal arts college located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Tracing its founding to 1742, it is recognized as America's sixth-oldest college. Visit the Web site at www.moravian.edu.
