The
Moravian College Music Institute presents a children's concert featuring
the Tom Lohrman Puppets on Sunday, October 1, 2000 at 4 p.m. in Peter
Hall. All seats are $5. Peter Hall is located at Moravian College’s
Church Street Campus at Church and Main streets in Historic Bethlehem.
The Tom Lohrman Puppets will be presenting a program designed
for all ages. Lohrman’s performances present a professional touch
that makes every occasion one to be remembered and enjoyed. The shows
employ music, lighting effects, props, scenery, magic, color, and special
effects. The puppets are personally created by the puppeteer which makes
this unique old art even more interesting.
Lohrman is member of the Puppeteers of America since 1960,
and Quaker Village Puppeteers, the oldest Guild in America on Puppetry.
Lohrman graduated from La Salle University (Correspondence-School),
Washington School of Art, and the New York Wilson Learning School. His
education along with some forty-two years of performing throughout the
Northeastern United States has added the professional and personal touch.
Lohrman gives to his audience needs and responses. The shows are filled
with satire, humor, and just plain fun. Lohrman's performances present
