(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) -- The Moravian College Alumni
Association announced the second lecture of the fall Monday Roundtable
series. Sharon A. Brown will present a lecture, "Cultural Awareness
and Inclusion: What’s in it for me?," on November 6 at 7:00
p.m. in Moravian College’s Prosser Auditorium. Brown will share
with us her experiences in "crossing the invisible divide"
while promoting cultural awareness and inclusion in higher education.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Brown received a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders,

worked as the Assistant Director of the Educational Opportunity Fund
Programs at the College of New Jersey, and also for the Community-Based
Counseling Program for Talent Search, East Orange, NJ. Her administrative,
academic, professional, community involvement and affiliations, plus
consulting experiences have provided a broad-based background for her

in recognition of her work and contributions to foster improving sensitivity
to diverse populations. Brown is an adjunct instructor at the college,
with the task to direct and implement the college’s initiatives

career has been in higher education where she has worked to inspire,
motivate and nurture "diamonds in the rough".
