(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) -- Moravian College will host
a holiday luncheon at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity to provide
food to residents of Bethlehem who might otherwise not be able to enjoy
a seasonal feast. The lunch will be held on Saturday, December 16th
from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Approximately fifty volunteers are helping
to serve a traditional holiday dinner of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes,
carrots, cake, and pie. The holiday lunch will be attended by more than
150 people from a variety of Bethlehem social service agencies including
New Bethany Ministries, South Bethlehem Neighborhood Center, Episcopal
Church Soup Kitchen
Moravian College and The Cathedral Church of the Nativity
have joined together to outreach to residents of Bethlehem that would
benefit from some holiday spirit and a nutritious hot meal. Cathedral
Church is providing the site and the staff to outreach to social service
agencies and Moravian College is providing the food and volunteers for
the lunch. Volunteers will be setting up, serving food, greeting, interacting
with guests and their children
