Tuesday, March 13th- Catherine Parzynski, "The History
of the Women's Movement", beginning at 7:30pm in the UBC Room of
the Haupert Union Building. Catherine Catherine received her B.A. from
Lehigh University in 1992 with a double major in History and Classical
Civilizations. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, and received
her M.A. in 1995 from Lehigh University. She is currently working on
her Ph.D. in Colonial American History, Women's History British History,
and Twentieth Century American Social History.
Wednesday, March 14th- "A Celebration of Moravian
Women Art Exhibit featuring art work by faculty, staff, students and
alumni" Art Exhibit Reception and Awards Ceremony, 4:30pm in the
H. Paty Eiffe Gallery" and the Haupert Union Lounge .
Thursday, March 15th- Readings of Poetry and Original
Fiction by MC students with afternoon tea. From 2-3:30pm in Reeves Library.
Light refreshments will be served.
Friday March 16th- LADIES NIGHT AT THE HUB- Beginning
at 10pm-1am in the Haupert Union Lounge. Come and enjoy movies, junk
food, (perhaps a manicurist, hairstylist, masseuse, Mary Kay representative--TBA)
and time with other Moravian College women. (still pending co-sponsorship
with the Sororities and female residence advisors)
Monday, March 19th- Joan Sarno, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
with the Moravian College School of Nursing and St. Luke's Hospital,
joining Moravian students, faculty, and staff for a Pot luck dinner
to discuss women's health issues. 5pm-7pm in the Snyder Room of the
Haupert Union Building.
Tuesday, March 20th-Wellness Fair, 10am-2pm, Haupert Union
Building. Featuring blood pressure screenings, Cholesterol testing for
the first 60 people to attend, lung function testing, the Coalition
for a Smoke Free Valley, information from Planned Parenthood, massages,
vision screening, and much more!
Also, at 7:30pm in Prosser Auditorium, speaker Sandra
Guzman. She is former editor of Latina magazine- her topic is "Latino
Leadership in the New Millennium: Women on the Move". A reception
featuring Latino culinary delights to follow at 8:30pm in the HUB Lounge.

March 20th-11:45am , "Don't Cry; Scream-African American
Women's Literature - in the HUB Dr. Sharon Gavin-Levy form NCCC.
Pam Pillsbury, Community Education Director of Turning
Point will display shirts from the CLOTHESLINE PROJECT- t-shirts displayed
on clotheslines to raise community awareness about abusive relationships
on Tuesday, March 27 at 8pm in the UBC Room of the HUB. Sponsored by
the Peer educators through USG funding.
Thursday, March 29th-Comedienne Lynn Trefzger, known for
her upbeat ventriloquism! She will be appearing in Prosser Auditorium
at 9:30pm- You won't want to miss it!
Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31st- The MC Dancers!!!!!
Featured in their 26th Annual Dance Concert, at 8pm in Foy Concert Hall
on the Church Street Campus.
Saturday, March 31- the LVAIC Women's Studies Conference
in the HUB.
