during the morning session. He will discuss the importance of understanding
the ramifications of cultural differences among students.
Lydia Perry, Center for Humanistic Change, will focus

statistics to the public. The act was founded in 1987 and became a federal
law in 1990.
On Tuesday, June 12, Captain Houck, Bethlehem Township
Police Department, will moderate the day’s main topic "Active
Shooter, Threat Assessment," focusing on what campus safety officers
should do if faced with a situation similar to Columbine. New theories
of not waiting for officials to arrive on the scene of an active shooter,
but to become involved immediately will be discussed.
Wednesday’s topics, "Domestic Violence"
and "Total Wellness for the Security Administrator," will
end the conference. The first presentation will discuss roommate and
boyfriend/girlfriend fights on campus and how to deal with them.
The security issue will be led by Mike McCarthy, Director
of Security at St. John Fisher College, to teach officers how to take
care of themselves. McCarthy will talk about physical fitness and stress
management for the campus law enforcement officer.
The conference will then commence with a Cracker Barrel
free forum in which attendees can ask questions to several officials.
