(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania)-- "Leadership: Principles
and Practices" is a new course that will be offered at Moravian
College during the Fall semester, beginning September 1. The Division
of Continuing and Graduate Studies is offering this course which is
geared to adult learners.
Don Robertson and Donna Goss, seasoned leadership instructors
from the corporate world, will teach the course. The course will approach
leadership as a life skill and an attitude relevant to many working
environments, both for-profit and not-for-profit. Using research models
as well as case studies, students will examine the characteristics of
an effective leader and the behaviors which distinguish effective leadership.
They will assess and strengthen their own leadership capacities and
define opportunities to demonstrate the behaviors they have learned.
The 4-credit course meets Saturday mornings from September
1 to December 15., 9:00 a.m. until noon. For information and registration
