(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) - Moravian College's International
Club will hold its Annual International Dinner on Saturday March 23.
The theme of this year's dinner is 'Celebrate the world.' The dinner
will include a talent show and a fashion show highlighting the culture
of the more than 20 countries represented by Moravian's international
students. The entertainment will be followed by dinner featuring cuisine
from around the world including Middle East, Eastern Europe, South Asia
and Pacific Rim. A free dance party featuring International music and
international dessert will follow the dinner.
The International Club is one of the most active clubs
on campus. The International Club promotes global understanding and
friendships and presents a variety of cultural programs and activities
to the campus community. The club has both international students and
American students as its members. All students are welcome to join the
club. In addition to the International Dinner, the Club organizes many
other events such as Holi (festival of color), world new year's celebration
and Last Day of Class picnic. The club is advised by Cas Sowa, Director
of International Studies. The president of the club is Bindesh Shrestha,
Class of 2003, who hails from Nepal.
