(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) -New York University economics
professor Marc Lieberman will speak about "The U.S. Trade Deficit:
Myths and Realities" on Friday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Moravian
College in the Snyder Room of the Haupert Union Building.
Lieberman, clinical associate professor of economics at
NYU, received his Ph.D. from Princeton University. He has presented
his popular Principles of Economics course at NYU as well as Harvard,
Vassar, the University of California/Santa Cruz, and the University
of Hawaii.
Lieberman is co-editor and contributor to The Road to
Capitalism: Economic Transformation in Eastern Europe and the Former
Soviet Union, and he has also co-authored several books including Introduction
to Economics and Economics: Principles and Applications with InfoTrac
College Edition.
In his spare time, Lieberman is a professional screenwriter.
He co-wrote the script for Love Kills, a thriller that aired on the
USA Cable Network. In addition to economics, Lieberman also teaches
screenwriting at Gotham Writer's Workshop in New York City.
The presentation is open to the public. Admission is free
