(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) - Twenty students in the Continuing
and Graduate Studies division of Moravian College were inducted into
Delta Omicron chapter, Alpha Sigma Lambda, the honor society for adult
continuing higher education students on Sunday, April 21.
Alpha Sigma Lambda officers Denise Stangl (Bethlehem),
Lori Lawler (Bethlehem), and Gracinda Glick (Bethlehem) conducted the
ceremony. They were assisted by assistant dean Karen S. Britt, advisor
Bonnie DeMicco, and dean Linda Heindel. New officers Patricia Giordani
(Bethlehem) and Gail Kuypers (Nazareth) were introduced. Chapter scholarships
were presented to: Valerie Applegate (Bethlehem), Colleen Weiss (Easton),
Patricia Wilson (Center Valley), and Elizabeth Portner (Allentown).
The program included an address from Dr. Joseph Shosh,
assistant professor of education, who spoke about Moravian rich history
and traditions. Evelyn Stewart, soprano, was accompanied by organist
Gary Stokes in a program of music honoring the students.

Haas (Bethlehem), Carolyn Lenig (Bethlehem), Andrea Lorenzo (Bethlehem),
Marisa Miller (Bethlehem), Brenda Somers (Bethlehem), Frank Wendt (Bethlehem),
Christopher Heyer (Easton), Mary Saville (Easton), Lisa Tejeda (Easton),
Colleen Weiss (Easton), Walter Meekins II (Allentown), Linda Kressly
(Whitehall), Joel Messick (Mt. Carmel), Janice Smith (Saylorsburg),
Francisco Rodriguez (Palmer), Michael Harrington (Chester, NJ), and
Allison Pollison (Sparta, NJ).
