(Bethlehem, Pennsylvania)— The renowned Duo-Pianists Arianna
Goldina and Remy Loumbrozo will perform on Thursday, October 30 at
7:30 pm in Peter Hall. Their appearance is in celebration of Moraivan’s
continuing effort to become an “All-Steinway Institution.” The
concert is sponsored by the Moravian College Department of Music and
Music Alliance, in conjunction with Jacobs Music Company.
The exceptional husband and wife team of Arianna
Goldina and Remy Loumbrozo, born far apart from one another (Latvia
and France), met
while studying at Julliard School of Music in New York City. Their
brilliant musicianship has won consistent praise from both critics
and audiences. There unique beauty of ensemble playing has been characterized
as a “four-hand symphony.” Goldina and Loumbrozo has traveled
extensively throughout the United States, Canada, England, France,
Italy, Germany, Russia, Scandinavia, and the Baltic States and has
performed with The Detroit Symphony, The Pacific Symphony, The Symphony
of Americas, The New World Symphony, The Philharmonic Orchestra of
Florida, and The Latvian National Symphonic Orchestra. Goldina and
Loumbrozo recently released a CD featuring the world-premier recording
of composer Aaron Copland’s unpublished work Music for the Theater.
