Bethlehem, Pa. October 20, 2005— The 16-piece Gairo/Rissmiller Jazz Orchestra
will celebrate the debut of their new CD “Treacherous” with a performance
at Moravian College’s Foy Concert Hall on Wednesday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. Admission
to the performance is $12 for adults and $6 for seniors, students, and children 12 and
under. Foy Concert Hall is part of the college’s Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus, located
at the corner of Main and Church Streets in Bethlehem. For more information, call 610-861-1650.
The group performs its original music throughout the Lehigh Valley and regularly performs
at Indulge in Allentown. The group has also performed at Musikfest and other local festivals.
Tony Gairo and Gary Rissmiller, are both adjunct faculty members at the Moravian College
Department of Music. Gairo teaches saxophone, while Rissmiller teaches the drums. In
addition to playing with the Gairo/Rissmiller Jazz Orchestra, both are solo performers.
Moravian College is a private, coeducational, selective liberal arts college located
