Moravian College announces the recipients of two Community Scholarships from LCCC and NCC

Matthew Eible (LCCC) and Julio Hernandez (NCC) will continue their education in the fall at Moravian

BETHLEHEM, PA, May 29, 2019: Today, Moravian College announced the first two recipients of the Community Scholarships established for students graduating from Northampton Community College (NCC) and Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC). Matthew Eible is the first Community Scholarship recipient from LCCC, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and he plans to major in Biochemistry at Moravian in the fall.  Julio Hernandez graduated from NCC with a 3.97 GPA and plans to become a Speech Language Pathologist.

“Both Matthew and Julio are excellent students and I’m confident they will excel in and out of the classroom,” said Bryon Grigsby, president of Moravian College. “They’ve had excellent support from their professors and their families, and we all look forward to seeing what they’ll do when they arrive on campus this fall.”

The Community Scholarships were awarded at two separate ceremonies, first at Lehigh Carbon Community College on May 14 and the second at Northampton Community College on May 22.
