Helen Benson Nace and her husband, Travis Nace ’07, have moved back to Pennsylvania after 10 years of living in Northern Virginia.  Travis is a medical librarian.  He recently began working at Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health.  Helen is a public health nurse.  The couple lives in Lansdale with their three year old son, Miles.

Preston Knauer has worked for East Penn Manufacturing in various sales roles since graduating from Moravian.  He started his sales career handling 13 counties and now he covers sales throughout the east region for the Reserve Power Division of East Penn Manufacturing.  In May 2018 Preston graduated with his MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Colorado State University.

Anthony Giovannini, Jr., Esq has completed his Juris Doctor, graduating from Western Michigan University – Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich.  Anthony passed the July 2018 Pennsylvania Bar Examination and was sworn in by Hon. Paula Roscioli in the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas in December 2018.
Stephanie Falcone was awarded the 2018-2019 Hoboken Middle School Teacher of the Year for the New Jersey Governor’s Educator of the Year Program. Stephanie is a 7th / 8th grade language arts teacher at Hoboken Middle School and is currently pursuing her Master’s in School Counseling at Seton Hall University.

Dominic Longo was accepted to Drew University’s American History Ph.D. program.  He earned his MA at Monmouth University and is currently teaching a couple of Western Civilization classes at a community college.
Malfitano Advisors, LLC, a preeminent provider of advisory services in the asset acquisition and disposition industry announced that Allen Wong has joined the firm.  Malfitano described Allen as an accomplished finance professional previously working with AlixPartners, where he served as an advisor to both debtors and creditors.

Perry Freifeld has been named an account executive for Verrex for the metropolitan New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia areas.  Perry will deliver Verrex’s full range of AV systems solutions to the corporate market as well as manage and develop several of Verrex’s largest clients and projects.
Mark Maglione has been awarded Teacher of the Year at Lillian Drive elementary school in Hazlet, NJ. He credits the outstanding professors he had at Moravian and the impact they had on his life and those of so many others.

From Cassidy: Upon graduation, Andrew Abraham participated in an internship at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH. He then went back to school to earn his M.S. in Physics from Lehigh. He is now enrolled in a Ph.D. program in the mechanical engineering department at Lehigh. He will be focusing his research efforts on minimizing the fuel consumption of a “hopper spacecraft.”

Gillian Flanagan is living in Pen Argyl with her husband, Jeremy Flanagan. They celebrated the birth of their baby boy, Thatcher Jeremiah Flanagan in April, exactly a year and half from the day they were married.

Brandon Heyer is employed at PROTEUS Technologies and living in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Beka Hoff is currently living in Kittery, Maine, where she works as a high school nurse.

Jessica Jonas got engaged to Andrew Sillers in April and they are planning their wedding for October 20, 2012. She is working full-time as a project manager for Absolute Servine, Inc., a publishing vendor in Towson, MD. She is also working part-time as a youth director at First Presbyterian Church in Annapolis, MD.

Naomie Kachel is recently engaged to Felipe Bautista, who she met while doing a triathlon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Philadelphia last year. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Education at Fordham University in New York in adolescence biology/conservation life science.

Carolyn King is teaching computers at Califon Public School (Grades K-8) in Califon, NJ. At school, she coaches cheerleading and softball, in addition to advising many clubs (yearbook, video enrichment, photo club). She is also completing her master’s in special education at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ.

Martha Larkin earned her master’s degree at Lehigh in May 2011, so she is now certified to teach social studies and special education. Soon, she will also be certified to teach middle level English as well. Currently, Martha is teaching at an alternative high school in Quakertown and getting ready to begin work as a part-time instructor at Lehigh County Community College.

Timothy Mills is working as a software developer for a small company called “Onco” in South Jersey. He plans to buy a house in the future.

Sarah Naumes is currently working as an organizer with the American Federation of Teachers in Eugene, Oregon. She received her M.A. in international relations this past fall before starting her job.

Patrick Sutton is working at Northampton High School as a long-term math substitute for the school year.

Dyana Swan is living in Annandale, NJ and just started her third year teaching fourth grade in Bedminster, NJ.

Cristina Tumasz was recently engaged to Frank Houston, and they are planning to have their wedding in Avalon, NJ next fall. She has been living in Boston for the past year, but plans on moving home to Pennsylvania soon.

Sarah Ward has been living in Toronto, Ontario for the last two years. In June, she graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Information degree in Book History and Print Culture. She has a temporary position for the provincial government while she seeks a full time position as a rare books librarian. Sarah’s article, “The Rare e-Vent Concepts of Scarcity and Rarity in e-Book” was published in an issue of the Faculty of Information Quarterly in July, which is dedicated to the current state and future of information studies.

Sarah Naumes and Michael Fusca are happy to announce their marriage on June 11, 2011. The ceremony was in the garden of the Abigail’s Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia. The two met while Sarah was completing her MA in International Relations at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

Sarah currently works as an organizer for the American Federation of Teachers at the University of Oregon. Michael is a student of disaster and emergency management at York University in Toronto, Ontario. They currently reside in separate countries and hope that the Canadian government will grant Sarah her permanent residence as soon as possible.

          Brette Simmons and Adam Smith are delighted to announce their engagement on March 10, 2010. They will be joined in marriage on Dec. 31, 2010 in Northwest PA.  Brette is finishing work on her teaching certification and Masters degree at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. They will settle in the South Bend, IN area while Adam continues working towards his Ph.D in aerospace and mechanical engineering as a research assistant at the University of Notre Dame.
