Zohal Khan will graduate from George Washington Law School in May 2019.  Zohal says that her philosophy major at Moravian was absolutely worth it.  Majoring in philosophy taught her how to think, how to persuade, and how to process every aspect of our human existence.  Philosophy gave her the tools needed to think critically and logically.  It was one of the best decisions she ever made and she found the major challenging, fulfilling, and ultimately, rewarding.

Francesca Falco writes:  After graduating in May 2015 with a degree in Art History, I came to the realization I would need a master’s degree in order to pursue a career in the art world.  However, in order to work in a museum or auction house, I needed practical experience that would involve working with and handling objects.
With the help of my mom, I came across a year-long “Masters of Fine and Decorative Arts from the Renaissance to Modernism” course with Christie’s Education in London.  After applying and being accepted, I took the leap and moved to London last September.  The course is so special because instead of taking purely survey classes, Christie’s teaches us tangible skills, like cataloguing and curating, which makes us qualified for jobs working with objects.  At least once a week, our class goes to a major museum in London.  We are fortunate enough to be able to go behind the scenes of museums like the National Gallery and the V&A, Christie’s Auction House, have a look at private collections of country houses, and to meet with dealers, specialists, and curators, which help us as students explore fields we might want to go into after we graduate.
This program combines the two things I love most: art and travel.  I have learned so much about other ways of life, other people, and most importantly, myself.  The decision to move to London and further my education through this unique program has changed my life in so many ways for the better, and it stems from my education at Moravian.  I explored my passion for art history all four years, and traveled to Europe during a May-term my junior year.  The exposure I received, as well as the support from my professors, helped me set the foundation for a promising future!
