Accounting Club (IMA Student Chapter)
The Accounting Club is the student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants concerned with advancing the academic and professional careers of accounting and business students. Members are introduced to accounting and to careers in the business world through guest speakers, field trips, and social events.

Alpha Kappa Delta recognizes seniors who have done outstanding work in sociology.

Alpha Psi Omega recognizes students who have done outstanding work in the dramatic arts.

American Chemical Society
The American Chemical Society is the student affiliate of the national society that provides lectures, presentations, and tutoring.

Amnesty International
Amnesty International is the student chapter of a worldwide organization working for fair and prompt trials for political prisoners, for an end to torture and executions, and for the release of all prisoners of conscience.

Amrhein Investment Fund
The Amrhein Investment Fund provides students with hands-on learning experience in investment. Members manage four investment portfolios. They meet weekly to discuss current holdings and present ideas for future transactions in stocks and bonds. The club also sponsors trips to the New York Stock Exchange and other places of interest. Anyone with an interest in investment is welcome.

Amrhein Loan Fund
The Amrhein Loan Fund provides financial relief for Moravian College students, faculty and staff. It combines flexible payments/low interest rates with a convenient on campus location. The Fund operates Monday through Friday over the lunch hours.

Art Club
The Art Club is dedicated to the appreciation, promotion, and creation of the visual arts through visits by artists, designers, photographers, curators and other arts professionals; visits to museums, galleries, and other sites; exhibitions of art at the H. Paty Eiffe Gallery in the HUB and on Hurd Campus; art workshops in a variety of media; and other opportunities. The art club meets regularly on South Campus to plan and discuss events.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
The Association for Computing Machinery is the student chapter of the professional association that provides an opportunity for students interested in computer science and applications. The organization sponsors several events during the year, such as lectures and programming competitions. In recent years, it has also sent its own team to local and regional programming contests.

Association of Peer Educators
The Association of Peer Educators purpose is to educate other students, formally and informally, about complicated issues facing today’s college students: alcohol and drug abuse, sexual assault and rape, HIV/AIDS, eating disorders, smoking, etc. Students who wish to participate are required to complete an application and interview process.  Those accepted must complete a training program.

Benigna Yearbook
The Benigna Staff is composed of three sections – copy, layout, and photography. There are three editors of each division and anywhere from one to three editors in chief. New members are always welcome.

Beta Beta Beta: National Honor Society for Biology Students
Beta Beta Beta is dedicated to the understanding and appreciation of biology and biological research. Biologists with a range of interests and expertise are invited to speak at meetings, giving members the opportunity to learn about real-world research problems.

Catacombs
Catacombs is a worship service that meets Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. in the Saal of the Bahnson Center (Moravian Theological Seminary) for song, reflection, and prayer. Music is most often Christian contemporary.

Cheerleaders
The Cheerleading squad tryouts are held in August. The squad cheers for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and (on request) teams involved in conference playoffs. The squad concentrates on precision cheering, stunts, gymnastics, and physical conditioning and holds a weekly practice.

Christian Nursing Fellowship
The Christian Nursing Fellowship meets for fellowship, devotional time and prayer on an almost weekly basis each semester.  The group also works to accomplish a service project and sponsor or co-sponsor a speaker dealing with spirituality or spiritual care and nursing at some point each year.

Comenian
The Comenian is the student newspaper and is produced by the student editorial staff and staff writers. It offers the students a valuable experience in news writing, copy editing, layout, design and photography.

Cycling Club
The cycling club is dedicated to students who have an interest in bicycles. The club actively competes in collegiate races from Pennsylvania to Vermont via the National Collegiate Cycling Association, where riders compete in a number of disciplines. For students who do not wish to race, the club partakes in leisurely rides around historic Bethlehem.

Delta Omicron: International Music Honor Fraternity
The Delta Omicron Gamma Pi chapter is open to all music majors and minors with a minimum grade-point average of 3.00 in their music courses and a 2.0 overall QPA. Activities include monthly musical performances as well as academic and service functions. Group provides many leadership opportunities.

Economics and Business Club
The Economics and Business Club provides students with an organization that builds personal character, encourages networking, promotes professional development and understanding in the field of economics and business, and supports the College and the local community.

Environmental Coalition
The Environmental Coalition strives to educate the campus community in order to promote awareness of environmental-friendly lifestyles and sustainable consumption of resources.

Equestrian Club
the Equestrian Club is an organization for horse enthusiasts. It supports riding lessons and conducts other activities for its members. Club members compete as the Moravian College Equestrian Team in intercollegiate horse show events.

Footlights Musical Theater Company
Footlights Musical Theater Company is devoted to providing the campus and community with the opportunity to learn about all aspect of musical theater. They not only engage in staging full length productions, but also giving members the chance to develop their talents in front of their peers. Acting is not the only part of theater and as a company Footlights works to help all those who participate a chance to try something new and expand on something that they already enjoy.

The Forum
The Forum publishes a political journal, facilitates student-led discussions on contemporary topics, and sponsors speakers.

French Club
The French Club holds informal meetings and a weekly table française in the HUB offer students the opportunity to practice speaking French. The club has a French cuisine dinner every year, sees French plays and films, and visits exhibits of French art.

Gamma Sigma Alpha: National Greek Honor Society
Gamma Sigma Alpha recognizes academic achievement among members of Panhellenic sororities and Interfraternity Council fraternities. Membership requires senior status and a cumulative QPA of 3.50.

German Club
The German Club enables students interested in German to learn about and participate in German cultural and historic events and activities. The club sponsors guest speakers, films, a weekly Kaffeeklatsch at the HUB, a periodic Stammtisch at a local pub, and trips to New York and Washington, D.C.

Greyhound Boxing Club
The Greyhound Boxing Club is for all students interested in the sport of boxing. The club will engage in all aspects of the sport of boxing; including training, sparring and boxing matches.

Habitat for Humanity
The College Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is open to all students interested in opportunities to build Habitat homes locally and/or away from campus during spring break. Fundraising for Habitat and awareness and advocacy related to affordable housing issues are also important functions of this service organization.

The Hillel Society is an international organization that offers religious, educational, cultural, and social programs for Jewish students and faculty.

History Club
The History Club is for all students, not just history majors or minors, interested in the uses and facets of history and the historian’s craft. The club sponsors luncheons, lectures, movies, trips, and displays around campus.

Ice Hockey Club
Moravian College's Club Ice Hockey Team provides Moravian students who have a strong desire to play ice hockey at competitive club college hockey levels with the opportunity to compete against other club college hockey teams in the greater Lehigh Valley and Delaware Valley region. Most Moravian College Ice Hockey team games are played at a local rink, as part of the Mid Atlantic Invitational Collegiate Hockey League regular season schedule.  Moravian's team is coached by an Advanced Level USA Hockey certified coach and practices are held evenings, usually twice weekly from November through February, at a local ice fink located five minutes from campus.

IMPACT
IMPACT (Innovative Multicultural Programming for Campus Togetherness) is the student activities program board. Committee chairpersons program a wide variety of events that include comedians, trips to major cities, karaoke, films, lectures, mall excursions, the organizational fair, late-night activities, Family Day, Homecoming, the Mr. Moravian competition, and much more. Students may join the organization any time during the year.

International Club
The International Cub, with international and American student members, sponsors cultural, social, and educational programs. Activities include a flag-raising ceremony, sports, debates, and international films, and culminate with the annual International Dinner.

Junk
Junk is the “anything goes” newspaper that publishes monthly. It includes anything from humorous articles and music reviews to cartoons and fiction pieces. A student staff works together in writing, layouts and editorial decisions, but any student is welcome to submit a piece of writing or a drawing at any point during the year.

Kappa Delta Pi: International Honorary Society in Education
Kappa Delta Pi recognizes overall academic excellence in education. Local members maintain a high degree of collegiality and mentor elementary and secondary education programs. The society also sponsors speakers and events.

Kappa Pi: International Honorary Art Society
Kappa Pi recognizes art majors who have attained a high level of artistic and academic achievement. Members may perform voluntary service to the College and community through artistic means.

The Learning Connection (TLC)
The Learning Connection is a mentoring program matches Moravian students with local elementary school children and their families for regular enrichment activities.

Manuscript
The Manuscript is the literary magazine on campus. All students are invited to submit essays, poetry, and short stories to the magazine for review by the editorial board. The final product is then distributed throughout campus.

Model NATO
The Model NATO student group participates in the annual Model NATO Conference that takes place in Washington, D.C., early in the spring term. Each participating college or university represents a NATO member state. The conference simulates the actual running of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and engages students in active role-play as diplomats and political, economic, and military advisors so they acquire an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing NATO in the real world. A semester of research and preparation offers students an opportunity to study the roles and activities of NATO countries and staff.

Moravian Choir
The Moravian Choir is a mixed vocal ensemble of 50-60 voices. The choir rehearses 4:00-6:00 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the academic year. It performs at the Christmas Vespers services in December and presents a major work of the choral repertory with orchestra in April. The choir has toured the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Open to all students by audition. Ability to sightsing helpful but not required. LinC or elective credit available.

Moravian College Big Band
The Moravian College Big Band performs jazz repertory from all eras and styles. The group performs each summer at the July Jazz Getaway with such guest artists as Stanley Turrentine, Bobby Watson, and Clark Terry. Membership is by audition.

Moravian College Christian Fellowship
The Moravian College Christian Fellowship is an interdenominational group that gathers for spiritual formation opportunities, worship, and fellowship. Small groups of students (Trilogy Groups) meet weekly in the residence halls for Bible exploration and faith renewal. MCCF has a special-interest house on campus for fellowship and programming.

Moravian College Community Orchestra
The Moravian College Community Orchestra is composed of students, faculty, staff, and community performers.  The orchestra performs symphonic repertory from all periods. Membership is by audition. LinC or elective credit available.  See the Music Department website for details.

Moravian College Dancers
The Moravian College Dancers is an outlet for students to explore the artistic dimensions of modern dance, jazz, tap, and ballet. Students audition for the company in early September. During the fall semester, the dancers take two weekly technique classes, perform at Homecoming, and attend professional performances/workshops. In the spring semester, the emphasis is on choreography and rehearsal for the annual concert.

Moravian College Democrats
The College Democrats is an organization of Moravian students interested in learning about and participating in the local and national political process. The organization is particularly involved in organizing non-partisan voter registration drives on campus, hosting political speakers, planning debates and volunteering for Democratic Party candidates.

Moravian College Marching Band and Color Guard
The Moravian College Marching Band and Color Guard performs at all home football games, the Homecoming Parade, and other fall parades and events. Band Camp is the week before the fall term. LinC or elective credit available. See the Music Department website for details.

The Moravian College Theatre Company presents two or three productions each academic year. All students are encouraged to participate.

Moravian College Wind Ensemble
The Moravian College Wind Enssemble performs wind-band literature from all periods.  The ensemble has toured the region, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Membership is by audition. Moravian College Women’s Chorus
The Moravian College Women’s Chorus consists of 40-50 voices and rehearses 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesdays. Often tours with the Choir and Wind Ensemble. Open by audition. LinC or elective credit available.

Moravian Mathematical Society
The Moravian Mathematical Society is the student chapter of the Mathematical Association of America. Activities enrich the mathematical experience at Moravian, provide information on careers in mathematics, and build community among students with lectures by guest speakers, presentations by students and faculty, videotapes and films, problem contests, games, and trips. Open to all students with an interest in mathematics.

Multicultural Club
The Multicultural Club sponsors cultural awareness activities, organizes social events, and participates in community service projects.  In addition, the club works closely with the Office of Institutional Diversity and provides support for students from historically underrepresented groups.

Newman Association
The Newman Association assists the Roman Catholic community of the College in maintaining and strengthening its faith commitment by study, participation in sacraments and worship, and integration of the faith into the community. Students establish respectful sharing with non-Catholic colleagues, who are welcome to participate in all Newman activities. The association also strives to provide personal, spiritual, and emotional support.

Omicron Delta Epsilon: National Honor Society for Economics and Business
Omicron Delta Epsilon recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement and promotes closer ties between students and faculty. The group also sponsors service activities for students interested in economics and business.

Omicron Delta Kappa: National Leadership Honor Society
Omicron Delta Kappa membership is extended to juniors and seniors who have demonstrated high academic achievement, leadership in campus activities and organizations, and service to College and community. The Moravian College Circle of ODK also sponsors lectures and service projects and recognizes the academic achievement and leadership of Moravian students.

Phi Alpha Theta: National Honor Society for History
Phi Alpha Theta recognizes students who have done superior work in the study of history. Candidates must have achieved a designated overall QPA as well as a designated minimum average or better in at least three history courses. Activities include both academic and social functions.

Phi Eta Sigma
Phi Eta Sigma is the national academic honor society for first-year students with a 3.50 QPA after the first semester. Phi Eta Sigma sponsors a variety of activities on campus related to academic excellence.

Phi Sigma Iota: International Foreign Language Honor Society
Phi Sigma Iota is for upperclass students pursuing a curriculum with an emphasis in foreign languages and cultures. Candidates must have achieved a designated overall QPA as well as a required grade-point average in their foreign language courses. The society fosters “a discerning and sympathetic understanding of the other peoples of the world.” It sponsors speakers, films, and other activities related to foreign languages.

Pi Mu Epsilon: National Mathematics Honor Society
Pi Mu Epsilon promotes scholarly activity in mathematics among students. Membership is conferred in recognition of scholarly achievement in mathematics. The local chapter, Pennsylvania Omicron, sponsors the Moravian College Student Mathematics Conference, a regional meeting for undergraduates interested in mathematics and related fields.

Pre-Law Club
The Pre-Law Club purpose is to increase understanding about the legal profession and to assist students in preparation for studies in law. The club also sponsors debates and forums on contemporary issues of law and public policy. Students interested in a career in the law or public life are encouraged to join.

Pre-Med/Colleges Against Cancer Club
The Premed/Colleges Against Cancer Club informs those students interested in pursuing a career in medicine with the following information: timeline for the application process to medical school, choosing a medical school, financial assistance, careers in medicine, medical ethics and other related topics. In an effort to enhance the community service and humanitarian efforts of our premed students, the Premed Club has partnered with the American Cancer Society’s Colleges against Cancer (CAC) Program. The CAC program allows college students, faculty and staff to work together to bring American Cancer Society programs and services to college communities nationwide.

Psi Chi: National Psychology Honor Society
Psi Chi promotes, stimulates, and maintains scholarship in the field of psychology. Student members—psychology majors and others with high academic achievement in the discipline of psychology—are encouraged to participate in annual research conferences, guest-speaker events, and service projects, and to contribute to the chapter’s biennial newsletter.

Psychology Club
The Psychology Club organizes workshops, seminars, and social affairs related to psychology in order to supplement classroom learning.

Reformed University Fellowship
Reformed University Fellowship, RUF, is the campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. The purpose of the organization is to reach students from all backgrounds for Christ and to equip them to serve God and others.

Rugby Club
The Rugby Club is devoted to introducing Moravian students, both male and female, to the emerging sport of rugby.  Our main goal is to get students interested and involved in rugby, but our secondary, and long-term goal is to have a college team of our own.  Until then we will continue to play for the Lehigh Valley Rugby Football Club, and continue to create an interest in rugby on the campus.

Sigma Iota Rho
Sigma Iota Rho is the international relations honor society at Moravian College. Students with high academic achievement in a variety of majors who take courses with a significant international focus, foreign language courses, and/or study abroad are invited to join in their junior or senior year.

Sigma Tau Delta: National English Honor Society
Sigma Tau Delta recognizes distinction in English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies. It promotes interest in literature and the English language on campus and in the community and fosters the discipline of English in all its aspects, including creative and critical writing.

Sigma Theta Tau: International Nursing Honor Society
Sigma Theta Tau Upsilon Alpha Chapter is part of the International Nursing Honor Society.

Society for Human Resource Management
The Society for Human Resource Management is the student chapter of the national group for professionals in human resources (personnel). Membership includes students majoring in psychology, business, and economics. Invited speakers, field trips, participation in human-resources competitions, and attendance at local professional meetings allow students to interact and network with human-resources professionals in the Lehigh Valley and beyond and to assist students in becoming better acquainted with the field.

Society of Marketing Entrepreneurs (SOME)
The Society of Marketing Entrepreneurs  is designed to enhance understanding of important business skills that are crucial , yet do not receive much attention; marketing, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Society of Physics Students
The Society of Physics Students offers access to job information, speakers, films, and tours as well as community service opportunities in the sciences. National members receive a subscription to Physics Today.

Sociology Club
The Sociology Club is open to all sociology majors, minors, and other interested in sociological theory, thought, and social issues. The organization’s goals are to promote the college within the community through service, promote the Sociology Department within the college, provide a forum for discussion of social issues and phenomena, and provide information and resources for Sociology majors and club members.

Spanish Club
The Spanish Club holds informal meetings and a weekly mesa española in the HUB offer students the opportunity to practice speaking Spanish, to “travel” with guest speakers, and to enjoy Hispanic music, dance, and food. The club plans activities such as New York theater and museum trips.

Spectrum: Gay-Straight Alliance
Spectrum provides information about sexual-orientation issues, sponsors programs for the College community, and works to combat homophobia and increase awareness of lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender issues.

Student Alumni Association (SAA)
The Student Alumni Association is affiliated with Moravian College Alumni Association, SAA links students with alumni and is involved in programming and activities such as Homecoming and the Career Networking Reception. Members attend alumni events to promote the image of the College among students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community. Students attend national and district conferences of Student Alumni Associations/Student Foundations, networking with students from more than 500 colleges and universities across North America.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is composed of student-athlete representatives from each Moravian sports team. This component of the NCAA Champs/LifeSkills program promotes communication with the Athletics Department and reviews both conference and NCAA legislation. SAAC also organizes special campus and community-service events.

Student Nurses Association
The Student Nurses Association is a professional organization that strives for health promotion, community service, and building a solid nursing community on the Moravian College Campus.

Transfer Sponsors
Transfer Sponsors are students, often former transfers themselves, who help those coming into Moravian adjust to a new college environment. They participate in orientation programs and offer individual support.

Twenty-Six Points
Twenty-Six Points is named for the points of the Moravian star, this group assists the Admissions Office by conducting campus tours for prospective students and their parents, attending college nights at area high schools, and helping with on-campus programs. Members serve as ambassadors of the College by assisting with public events, particularly those with an impact on new-student enrollment. All students are welcome to apply. Members are selected through a competitive interview process and chosen on the basis of academic performance, leadership, and involvement in College activities.

United Student Government
The United Student Government (USG) is the representative body of the full time and part-time undergraduate student body. USG strives to create cohesion by providing advocacy and representation for the student body in particular, and the College community in general, and shall serve as the primary vehicle for the expression of the interests and concerns of the Moravian student body. All of the Executive Council and Legislature are elected in the Spring for the coming academic year. However, elections for first-year students for the Legislature take place in the Fall.

As the primary representative/advocate body for students, USG serves as the primary liaison between the student body and the faculty, staff, administration, alumni and the larger College community. One of its major functions, outside of advocacy, is to allocate funds to student organizations. Organizations or club sports seeking USG recognition should contact the Constitutional Affairs and Electoral Commission’s Chair through the USG Advisor.

USG provides support to many organizations and activities and initiates and plans several programs each year, including the Annual Student Concert, the Annual USG Prestigious Speaker, and all of the Senior Class Activities through the USG Events Council.

USG is also specifically responsible for appointing students to student-faculty committees, which make policy decisions affecting students. Committees are listed in the Moravian College Catalog.

The Legislature of USG meets on a regular basis, as does the Executive Council and the other branches of the government. All students are highly encouraged to participate and contact USG with any issues or questions they may have.

Vocalis is a small a cappella vocal ensemble that performs a wide range of musical styles from the Renaissance to vocal jazz. Open to all students by audition, subject to acceptance into the Moravian Choir.

Women’s Golf Club
The Women’s Golf Club allows interested women the opportunity to practice and play the game of golf. Club members come from all skill levels – the novice golfer to those interested in a more competitive intercollegiate golf environment. Practices are held at Bethlehem Golf Club (1 mile from campus) during the fall and spring semesters.

WRMC
WRMC is Moravian College’s radio station and the voice of Moravian College. Our purpose is to maintain a means of communication on the campus; to inform, as well as entertain the student body; to enable students to learn the operations of a radio station; and give students hands-on experience in communication skills.

Zinzendorf Society
The Zinzendorf Society creates experiences in writing and literature for the campus community, sponsors creative-writing workshops and poetry readings, and field trips of literary interest to area festivals and museums.
