Join us as we celebrate another outstanding graduating class!

NOTE: Commencement will be held outside on Saturday, May 16th. If there is any change in the venue, the information will be posted by 7:00am Saturday morning.


Baccalaureate is on Friday, May 15th at 5:00 p.m. at the Central Moravian Church.


Moravian College will hold commencement exercises on Saturday, May 16, beginning at 10 a.m., in the outdoor quadrangle behind the Haupert Union Building on the Main Street Campus. The ceremony will conclude the 273rd academic year at Moravian, America’s sixth-oldest college. Moravian College President Bryon L. Grigsby ’90 will confer degrees to approximately 346 bachelor degree candidates, and 37 graduate degrees.

The graduation list will be final at noon on Wednesday, May 13th. There will be no changes made after this date.

Weather Information

In the event of rain, the program will be held in Johnston Hall. Unless there is a downpour or thunder and lightning, the Commencement ceremony generally continues outside. If rain is expected, please come prepared (umbrella, raincoat, etc.). If there is any change in the location for Commencement based on weather, that information will be available from the Moravian College Weather Hot Line at 610-625-7995 and will be posted on the College homepage at
