Baccalaureate
Baccalaureate is on Friday, May 10th at 5:00 p.m. at the Central Moravian Church.
Commencement
Commencement is on Saturday, May 11th, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the outdoor quadrangle behind the Haupert Union Building on the Main Street Campus. The ceremony will conclude the 271st academic year at Moravian, America’s sixth-oldest college. In the event of rain, the program will be held in Johnston Hall. Moravian College President Christopher M. Thomforde will confer degrees to approximately 398 bachelor degree candidates, 14 Master of Business Administration degree candidates, and 15 Master of Education degree candidates, 15 Master of Science degree candidates, and 1 Master of Science in Human Resource Management candidates.
The graduation list will be final at noon on Wednesday, May 8th. There will be no changes made after this date.
Weather Information
In the event of rain, the program will be held in Johnston Hall. Unless there is a downpour or thunder and lightning, the Commencement ceremony generally continues outside. If rain is expected, please come prepared (umbrella, raincoat, etc.). If there is any change in the location for Commencement based on weather, that information will be available from the Moravian College Weather Hot Line at 610-625-7995 and will be posted on the College homepage at www.moravian.edu.
