New members are selected each year during the period designated for rush. Second-semester freshmen with a minimum QPA of 2.25 are eligible to join fraternities or sororities. Individual organizations may require a higher QPA for affiliation, and first-years are encouraged to earn an academic average higher than the required minimum. Students of sophomore or higher standing require a 2.00 QPA to affiliate.
