Financial Management for Fraternities and Sororities
All Moravian fraternities and sororities must have an on-campus financial account managed through the College's Business Office. The only exception is those chapters who have the option of an online financial management system through their national headquarters.
Those chapters with on-campus financial accounts can deposit and withdraw funds on a regular basis. The chapter should keep in mind that completed vouchers with attached receipts must be submitted to Accounts Payable by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons. Checks are processed and run on Thursday and available for pickup or placed in the mail on Thursday afternoon. Requests after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday will not be processed until the following week.
Completed vouchers must include the chapter president and treasurer signatures, as well as the chapter's advisor's signature. The chapter advisor must be the faculty advisor or an alumni advisor who is a member of the Moravian faculty or staff. The director of residence life and Greek life can also sign off on vouchers on behalf of the organization.
