To Our Students
I am so pleased that you have chosen Moravian College for your home. Moravian College is more than just an institution; it is a family, and in what will seem like a blink of eye, it will become your alma mater; your soul mother. I am proud of Moravian and proud that you are new members of its family. This handbook serves to explain how this family works, learns, and takes care of its members. I encourage you to explore its contents, to understand the policies and actions that guide our beloved institution, to be open to new ideas and experiences, and to participate in the continual process of improving Moravian and what it delivers to its students. Be proud of Moravian. We are the sixth oldest college in the country and the first college to educate women and Native Americans. Our alumni are amazing, successful people, and so are our current students. I am so proud of each one of you for selecting Moravian. You have made a very wise choice. Welcome to the family!
Have a wonderful year.
