The Moravian College identity has three essential parts:
a symbol, a typographic style, and a palette of colors.
The symbol of the cupola is an adaptation of the symbol
designed for the Priorities for the Future capital campaign. This symbol,
in turn, was a redesign of the treatment of the Colonial Hall cupola,
which has served as the official (if not universally adopted) logo of
the College since 1987.
The typographic style for the College name is Goudy. This
traditional typeface, as well as the placement of the founding date
under the symbol, clearly convey Moravian’s strong and proud history
in higher learning.
The new identity also allows for the optional use of a
themeline to further position the College: A Small National Treasure.
Use of the themeline can be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Two formats for the symbol and College name have
been approved for general use. Both of these formats are available in
EPS (Encapsulated Post Script), TIFF (Tag Image File Format), JPEG (Joint
Photographer’s Expert Group), or PDF (Portable Document File)
formats from the Publications Office.
