Besides ROTC, do you participate in any athletics or extracurricular activities at Moravian College?
I am a member of the Varsity Women's soccer team.

What made you want to join Army ROTC?
What made me want to join Army ROTC was my desire to serve my country and my dream to be an officer, so ROTC was the perfect fit for me.

What is your best tip to prepare for Army ROTC before starting college?
The best tip I can give to prepare for the Army ROTC is to be physically fit so the APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) can be succeeded.

Can you describe how ROTC fits into your day to day as a freshmen in college?
It takes up a lot of time. My Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings start early—I wake up at 5 am for PT. Tuesday is class at Lehigh University and Thursday is lab for 3 hours there as well. It takes up a lot of my time and its physically and mentally demanding but overall worth it.

What is your favorite thing about Army ROTC so far?
My favorite thing about Army ROTC is the group of people that I get to share this experience with and help me evolve into an officer.

What excites you most about your future in Army ROTC?
What excites me the most about my future is seeing my dream in front of me being a physical therapist officer for the Army helping wounded soldiers and veterans.

If awarded an Army ROTC scholarship, how has the thought of not needing to pay tuition impacted your financial future?
It has made the financial aspect one less thing to stress about so I can spend money on other important expenses, which was made possible by the scholarship.

Every American has a duty to serve their country in some way and I believe mine is in the U.S. Army.

You need to be prepared to get up early and go to bed late. You will also need to learn how to manage your time and make the most out of the time you have. Early morning hours still count.

Can you describe how ROTC fits into your day to day as a freshmen in college?
It's PT in the early Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, then practice in the afternoon.

What is your favorite thing about Army ROTC so far?
My favorite things about ROTC are the experiences that we do in the program from the training from PT in the morning to Field Traning Exercise (FTX) to assembling a M240B.

What excites you most about your future in Army ROTC?
What I am most excited for is being able to do what I've always wanted to do, to fulfill my duty as an American.

I would invest the money into my future to establish my financial stability.
