MORAVIAN WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FALLS TO 9TH IN NATION

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Even though the Moravian College women's cross country team won the Dickinson Invitational last Saturday, the Greyhounds fell one spot to ninth in the nation in this week's NCAA Division III national poll.

The Greyhounds have won four of the five meets they have run in this season and placed second in the other race.

Junior Emily Shertzer (Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin HS) has captured first place in three of five meets this season.  Shertzer has been followed by junior Kim Jaick (Coopersburg/Southern Lehigh HS), junior Heidi Wolfsberger (Moosic/Riverside HS), junior Erin Boyle (Philadelphia/ Nazareth Academy) and senior Hannah Wood (Palm/Upper Perkiomen HS).  All five of Moravian's top runners have finished in the top 40 of each race this fall.

The Greyhounds will compete Saturday, October 14th at Allentown College Invitational.
