GREYHOUNDS MOVE TO EIGHTH IN THE REGION

BETHLEHEM, PA --- After defeating second-ranked Messiah College, 1-0, last Saturday, the Moravian College women's soccer team jumped back into the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings.

The Greyhounds, now 16-3 on the season and hosting Messiah in the Commonwealth Conference Semifinals on Wednesday, October 25th at 3:00 p.m., are tied with Montclair State (NJ) University for eighth in the region.  Messiah fell one spot from second to third.

Moravian has played three of the other teams ranked this week, losing to fifth-ranked University of Scranton, 2-1, losing to tenth ranked William Paterson, 3-0, to open the 2000 season, and defeating rival and tenth ranked Muhlenberg College, 1-0.
