HASTINGS NAMED COMMONWEALTH SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Freshman outfielder/catcher Jenn Hastings (Pottstown/Owen J. Roberts
HS) of the Moravian College softball team has been named the Commonwealth Conference
Player of the Week for her performance last week.
Hastings helped the Greyhounds post a 4-0 record last week by hitting .700 in the four
contests. Hastings had seven hits in ten at-bats with six RBIs, two runs scored,
two sacrifice bunts, a double and a triple. In Moravian's second game with Haverford
College, Hastings was 4-for-4 with five RBIs, a run, a double and a triple.
Moravian is currently 13-3 on the season and Hastings is hitting .486 with 17 hits in
35 at-bats with eight runs scored and nine RBIs. She has played in 14 of the Greyhounds'
16 contests and has started 10 games.
