BUSCHTA & BRIA NAMED NSCAA ALL-REGION PLAYERS

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Freshman defender Jackie Buschta (Whitehall/ Allentown Central Catholic HS) and freshman midfielder Justina Bria (Warminster/William Tennent HS) of the Moravian College women's soccer team have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team.

The duo helped the Greyhounds to a school record 15 wins this season, a 15-4 overall record, the first post-season appearance in school history and a first place tie in the Commonwealth Conference regular season with a 6-1 slate.

Despite being on the defensive end of the field, Buschta, a Commonwealth First Team All-Star and the Commonwealth Co-Rookie of the Year, was able to score nine goals and add three assists for 21 points, second on the Moravian squad.  Four of her nine goals were game-winners this season and Buschta is currently playing for the Moravian women's basketball team.

Bria, a Commonwealth Second Team All-Star, controlled the Moravian offense and defense this year from the middle of the field.  She did score four goals and add four assists for 12 points.
