PHAM NAMED NSCAA ALL-REGION PLAYERS

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Senior forward Van Pham (Reading/Reading HS) of the Moravian College men's soccer team have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team.

Pham helped the Greyhounds to a 9-11 overall record and the first berth in the post-season for Moravian since 1991, where the squad lost to Elizabethtown College in the Commonwealth Conference semifinals.

Pham, who was named to the 2000 Commonwealth Conference All-Star First Team, led Moravian in scoring with eight goals and he added three assists for 19 points.  Pham, a Commonwealth Second Team All-Star honoree as a sophomore and as a junior, completed his Moravian career with 29 goals and five assists for 63 points.  His 29 goals are the seventh highest total in Moravian history while his 63 points ranks tenth in the record books.
