PENCE, CUPPLES, FICK RANKED IN LATEST NCAA DIVISION III FOOTBALL STATS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College junior defensive back Jarrod Pence (Livingston, NJ/Livingston HS) leads the nation in pass break-ups while juniors John Cupples (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) and Josh Fick (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus HS) are both ranked in the top 30 of the latest NCAA Division III Football Statistics released Tuesday.

Pence leads the Middle Atlantic Conference and the country with 3.0 pass break-ups per game.  He has 16 pass break-ups and two interceptions this season in six games for Moravian.

Cupples, a starter at linebacker, is tied for 23rd in the nation with 2.2 tackles for loss per contest.  Cupples, the Greyhounds leading tackler with 57 stops this season, has 13 tackles for loss of 61 yards in six games.

Fick, a tailback, is tied for 26th in the country in scoring at 9.6 points per game despite missing last week's game with a knee injury.  In five games this season, Fick has scored eight touchdowns for 48 points.

The Greyhounds are currently 3-3 on the season and in the MAC and the squad will travel to Albright College in Reading for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff this Saturday.
