ROTZELL NAMED ECAC DIVISION III FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

CENTERVILLE, MA --- Freshman jumper Kirsten Rotzell (Bangor, PA/Bangor HS) of the Moravian College women's outdoor track & field team has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Field Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Capturing both her field events at the Lehigh Valley Championships hosted by Muhlenberg College, Rotzell qualified for the ECAC's.  Rotzell took first in the long jump with a leap of 5.23 meters (17 feet, two inches) and took first in the triple jump with a track record of 11.24 meters (36 feet, 10 ½ inches).  Rotzell also took seventh in the 100-meters with a time of 13.24 and sixth in the 200-meters with a time of 27.26.

The Greyhounds, who finished third at the meet, are scheduled to compete at the Princeton University Invitational this weekend.
